14 awards at District 3830 cap banner year for Rotary Club of Makati

It’s been another banner year for the Rotary Club of Makati, with its harvest of fourteen (14) awards during the RI Distroct 3830 Global Awards held last Saturday, 14th May, at the auditorium of Insular Life at the Madrigal Business Center in Alabang. The awards—two from Rotary International and twlve from the District—were received by Pres. Jun Rojas
           
Also in attendance for RC Makati werePP Pepito Bengzon, PP Robert Kuan & Ann Yvonne, incoming treasurer JunJun Dayrit, Dir. Drexx Laggui and Treas. Dayal Nandwani
           
Aside from the awards received by the Club for outstanding projects and other achievements, Gov. Ed Alvarez also conferred a Leadership Award on Pres. Jun.
           
DGND Robert Kuan was also recognized as a Level 3 Major Donor to The Rotary Foundation (TRF) with his contribution of over US$60,000. He has since upped his giving by another $50,000, elevating him to Level 4, though that last contribution has yet to be formally acknowledged by TRF.
